For many decades, Ahmedabad was the center of education, culture and business. Divine blessings of both spiritual and material life’s were gathered here and the Islamic institutes of this place had attracted the students not only from broad but also from abroad.
In sixteenth and seventeenth century, it was felt as if Ahmedabad, the city of Gujarat, had become the center of religious and cultural activities. Also a least possibility of any religious or educational institute of this city was found to be left without a generous philologist. But when educational declination started, this city was last affected by this. And day-by-day it’s educational abilities decreased slowly and left this city as commercial center alone. Materialism took the complete control in such a way the city had hardly a single Madrasa till the end of twentieth century which can fulfill the Islamic desire. But it is also a bitter truth that whenever such declination occurred and the ummah in hopeless situation, the noble philologists came forward and saved the ummah from such grave situation.
At the end this century, Ulema-E-Islam put their special efforts towards this. Within a small period they established the Islamic castles which not only memorized the ancestors but also presented the reality due to which heresy and rites were discarded. Allah bless them for putting efforts towards these auspicious arrangements. Jamia Kanzul Uloom is a part of this auspicious link, which is established at the historical Khanjahan Jama masid of Jamalpur, a populated area of Ahmedabad on 17th Ramzanul Mubarak 1426 Hijri (1st November 2004) under the supervision of Ulema.
